Your civic wing mirror not folding correctly?
If you are reading this then i'm guessing you are having issues with your Civic wing mirrors?
Unfortunately this is a common problem with the Honda Civic from year 2006 all the way up to 2016 but the good news is that they are all fixable.
Poly fuse replacement
Simply dig out all the glue that covers the existing fuse, just enough so you can see the legs of the fuse. Once you're happy, snip off the head of the fuse so as to just leave the legs (if the head hasn't already fallen off).
Now solder your new fuse to legs of the existing fuse and then finally fill the SOD with glue from a glue gun to make sure you keep any moisture out.
Once the glue has set solid all you need to do is then fit it back in the mirror and **Presto** it should work as good as new.
Now note this may not be the option for you if you don't feel confident with soldering.
Send me your SOD for repair
If you are not wanting to try and repair your SOD by yourself then that's not a problem. All you need to is send me your SOD, I will repair it and sent it straight back to you.
I have a repair system in place that automatically sends you repair status updates so you can keep track of where your SOD is through its repair journey.
If I find that your SOD is beyond repair, I will refund you part of your fee and then dispose of the module at my local recycling centre on your behalf.
Please not that my turn around time for repairs is only as quick as you sending it to me. Usually I will repair your SOD on the day I receive it and send it back either the same day or next day.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch and i'll do my best to help where I can.
